Rest in Peace Keith Hufnagel; the founder of HUF. The legend passed away due to brain cancer in 2020. His legacy lives on strong with the impact he’s had on street culture and skate culture. This sneaker released exclusively at HUF locations in October to try and get them to the right sneaker consumers.
A special thing about these pairs are under layer designs that reveal as the the shoe wears down. Another signature to some of the best Nike Sb collaborations to ever release.
The NY pair features a light grey swoosh with a white tumbled leather on the quarter. Dark blue on the outer layer under the swoosh and on the toe box. San Francisco pair in a similar make up but with a switched contrast. SF pair features the same light grey swoosh and a black tumbled leather on the quarter. White on the outer layers and toe box as well. SF pair has orange hits and the NY pair has hits of dark blue. Both with tribute to Keith on the heel tab.
The thing about this sneaker release is that you don’t know which colorway you’re getting until you open the box. There’s three colorways that it could possibly be; New York City, San Francisco, and the Friends and Family pair (Los Angeles.
This pair released today on a larger scale. Through skate shops and Nike SNKRS App.
