On October 25th, 2022, Ye was immediately terminated by Adidas. The sales of Yeezys will be discontinued and all Yeezy items in production have been halted.
Ye was first upset with Adidas saying they were stealing his designs. Every since Yeezy Day it’s seems he’s been publicly firing up representatives of adidas. Ye went on record saying adidas was making up colorways and ripping off models without his approval.
It’s no surprise that Ye has come to the light in the most outrageous way over public media. Although Ye had been publicly speaking on specific people, rendering a bad look for any brand that still represented him. He got dropped from Balenciaga, Gap, and many more platforms and storefronts.
Adidas let him go with the official statement below.
It’s a shame to see a part of a sneaker empire come down in such an abrupt way. Yeezys will always hold a conversation in the sneaker space.
