Denver – For The Toe

I’m back in the H after a couple nights spent in The Mile High City! I was in Denver, Colorado with my girlfriend Jordan; we celebrated our 5 years spent together. We spent 4 nights at an Airbnb and we had a lot of fun things to do in the city.

This For The Toe is just talking about my vacation rotation and some of my experience in my first time in Denver!

I only brought TWO pairs of sneakers with me. I always have a hard time trying to figure out what pairs to bring with me when I go out of town. It’s usually a training shoe, a court shoe and slide of some sort at the minimum. This was the case for this trip as well.

I wore the Travis Scott x Air Max 1 ‘Baroque Brown’ ALOT this trip. My runner this trip was something I didn’t plan on doing any running in, but was my go to tennis shoe for the couple days. The colors on this shoe are put together so perfectly and I love the way they look on feet. I wore these on the plane and pretty much anytime I needed to step outside real quick.

We stayed downtown and the weather was nice all weekend. It was cool to see that was some snow in the front lawn of our Airbnb that hadn’t melted because the sun doesn’t see that grass throughout the day.

The other pair I brought was the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Dark Mocha

I love this pair as well. I was gifted this pair by my girlfriend Jordan. This is one of the first early pairs I’d ever seen in person. The pair came out while I was working a part time job at JD sports. Besides that, I mean I do love the Jordan 1 and I believe it will always be one of the most worn Jordans off the court. I try not to wear these too often when I’m home but after vacations I usually do wear the pairs more. I wore these to the Movies to see Creed 3 and walk around 16th Street Mall. I also wore the pair at an Avalanche game and then a Nuggets game the following day. Ball Arena was very clean, but Toyota Center definitely has more sneakerheads.

After the Nuggets Game I noticed someone in the city wearing their price tag on their sneakers. What do y’all think of this? Is it corny? Is it a flex? This was the day after the White Cements released as well; I would think wearing the pair would be enough. Let us know what you think.

Overall, Great time in Denver, Colorado. This was definitely the craziest airport I’ve ever been in. The train system and just how big it is in general is actually crazy. I’m back home now, so now it’s time to plan the next vacation!
