Today one of the most interesting takes on a culture staple was released to the public through the MSCHF sneakers app.
Tyga has been in production with this sneaker working with the brand MSCHF.
The shoe is obviously heavily inspired by the classic old skool vans silhouette. The most interesting and eye-popping feature for this collaboration is definitely the wavy midsole. A complex midsole with a shape nobody’s quite seen before. Tyga revealed in an interview it took months to figure it out. More features on this sneaker is a primarily black upper with a white leather in a wavy pattern. Stitching and lining colors mock the classic almost exactly.
In fact it has come to recent news that Vans is issuing a lawsuit against MSCHF & Tyga for ripping off the design. In related news; MSCHF was the brand behind the viral “Satan” Nike Customs that broke the internet last year. Although, the pair was still released to the public this morning in an hour-long, online raffle. MSCHF pushes the boundaries of sneaker culture again.
