But first a little history…
In 2002 Nike SB first found it’s way into the skateboarding scene. It was against the grain at first as Skateboarders weren’t ready to start letting big corporations like Nike involved. After finally breaking into the industry after a couple failed attempts, Sandy Boedecker and some athletes took this branch of Nike to heights never seen before.
One of the most iconic shoes under the Nike SB branch is the Nike SB Dunk. The dunk was often skated by skaters back in the day because they weren’t desired by the public and they were durable for a good price. So around the reboot of Nike SB back in 2002, Boedecker but a twist on the dunk and made it even more suitable for skateboarders.
Fast forward to 2022 Nike Sb has done countless contributions to skateboarding as a whole and they’re working harder for everyone to be able to get Nike SB Dunks more.
In the past couple weeks, Ebay had a special event at their store in Oregon to give skateboarders the chance to buy hyped dunks at the throwback retail price of $65 dollars. The only catch was that you had to lace them up on the spot and skate them out the store. A lot of Nike Sb pros media sneakerheads were present for the event. The release of the Iconic ebay dunk followed the next week.
THIS WEEK Nike Sb is showing more love in an exclusive access manner for the next couple days. They’re giving people who have missed out on Dunk SB’s for the past couple years a chance to cop them for their retail price. The more dunks you took a loss on the higher your chances could be for this access.
