Cactus Jack and the big swoosh are returning with 4 great pairs of footwear. Two different colorways of the Air Max 1 and the Air Trainer 1 are rumored to drop soon this month. It’s said pairs will be releasing at Space Village in Houston, Texas on the 20th of May. Pairs are expected to load and drop on the SNRKS app a week later on May 27th, 2022.
All pairs got pushed back in production / release along with the tragedy that happened at The Astroworld Festival; Travis Scott’s hometown festival. The Air Max 1’s dropped locally that day but the SNKRS drop following got canceled.
The “Baroque Brown” releases at Space Village and a SNKRS stash the same week. The “Saturn Gold” colorway was loaded up on SNKRS for the same day as the other AM1 but never saw any exclusive release before this spring.
The Air Trainer 1 was most likely supposed to drop in the period that Nike and Travis were letting things settle down. Pictures of leaked samples have been around for months but those didn’t even get loaded up onto SNKRS and then taken down. This shoe comes in two different tones; one with typical Travis Scott earth tones and one with a clean Utopia look.
