Nike SB is back again with another creative release on the classic dunk. Run The Jewels is the featured collaborator this time and they did NOT miss. This pack comes in a Dunk Low and Dunk High.
Nike SB is known for creative releases when it comes to holidays and seasons. This 4/20 the dunk low gets a Low & a High version. Although these aren’t specifically 4/20 related… these are very loud pieces of footwear.
Run The Jewels is a Hip Hop duo created in 2013. The Brooklyn/Atlanta-based duo also go by “RTJ” or “Yankee The Brave.” The Members are EI-P and Killer Mike and they’re actually on tour this April.
The lows comes in a primarily blue upper made of premium materials. A pink suede swoosh featured in the traditional spot. 3 different lace options to match all the different blues for the sneaker. Gold accents and Nike logo on the heel tab. A blue translucent midsole pulls the together in a unique way. Small details all throughout the sneakers themselves.
The High version comes in a pink and black upper. Some type of long haired fur is feature as the pink material on the upper. Black materials are a type of leather, paired with a black plastic swoosh. 4 total lace options coming with this pair. This pair comes with two different ‘jewels’ that feature as lace locks.
I personally really like the look of the lows. This shoe design screams different in a subtle, yet crazy way. The materials featured on it, with the colors and overlays are truly put together with finesse. Hopefully I will be adding this pair to my collection.
