This sneaker was originally supposed to release on 4/20 in the year 2020 but got “scrapped”. Some ‘no box’ pairs have surfaced since the rumored release which lead them to a high resale value ever since.
This marijuana strain-inspired dunk is designed after the look of a strawberry it’s self. The main front of the upper is made up of red leathers and the back of the upper is made up of light green suedes and satins. The midsole is crispy translucent to expose more color for the sneaker. The design on the heel is an animated strawberry, appearing to be coughing.
It’s rumored that one of the reasons this sneaker got pushed back is the concept itself. A month before the original release the world pretty much shut down due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. One of the main ways the virus was spread was through coughing. So in order to stay tasteful and respect everyone getting sick, they could’ve shelved all the pairs until now.
