Kanye West is one of the most powerful artists in the fashion industry. Adidas cut ties with Ye over some anti-semitic comments that he stated publicly. However, Adidas has been sitting on $1.3 billion worth of Yeezy sneakers that they couldn’t sell.
On May 11th, CEO of Adidas, Bjoern Gulden was the one that had made the statements and confirmations. Yeezys can start dropping as soon as tonight.
Part of Proceeds will go to International Organizations. 15% of Commission on all goods will go to YE.
These sneakers will also feature official yeezy branding on sneakers and packaging. This could be up to a year’s worth of yeezys.
This will just be the remaining stock of what is left of the product. A lot of restocks and pairs that caught rumors before the brand terminated the contract.
